惠栋在乾隆年间首次打出汉学旗号,是原始要终地认识汉宋问题从无到有发生、演化的关键。晚近学人多以汉宋之争的眼光来认识惠栋学术,与其原意颇有距离。惠栋构筑汉学,主要落实于《易》学,实渊源于宋儒而自成一说。他在钩沉两汉专门之学后,阐发《易》理,以此统贯诸经,借汉儒古义发明微言大义,以与学术高峰程、朱之学竞争,实是暗用宋儒道统之说而又修正道统论。惠栋汉学成为一时显学,引起学人主动辨析汉学名义,区分治经的求古与求是,恰恰显现清代几乎没有多少纯宗汉学的学人。
During the Qianlong years, Huidong first published a Sinology banner, which is the key to the recognition of the occurrence and evolution of Han and Song problems from the very beginning. Recent scholars mostly to Han dispute the vision to understand Huidong academic, rather far from its original meaning. Huidong construct Sinology, mainly in the “easy” to learn, in fact, originated from Song Confucianism and said one by one. After he specialized in the study of the Han and Han Dynasties, he elucidated the theory of “Yi” and used it as a principle to explain the Confucian classics through Confucianism, Confucianism and Confucianism. Correct the Orthodoxy. Huidong Sinology became a temporary school, causing scholars to take the initiative to identify the name of Sinology, the distinction between the ancient and seeking governance, just shows the Qing Dynasty there is almost no pure Zong Sinology scholars.
