有人说,《十二木卡姆》是延续千年的东方音乐史上的瑰宝。是的,对这样一部以丰富的音乐语言来表达维吾尔族人民的历史及生活的巨型艺术百科全书,做这样的评价是公正的。“木卡姆”源于阿拉伯文,原意为“最高的位置”,转意为“大型套曲”。《十二木卡姆》是我们民族的传统大型套曲,共有十二大套,每套均由“大拉克曼”、“达斯坦”、“麦西热普”三部分组成,包括序歌、叙诵歌曲、叙事组歌、舞蹈组歌、间奏曲等。它的体裁多样,节奏生动,曲调极为丰富。伴奏乐器有:沙塔尔、弹拨尔、独他尔、热瓦甫、艾捷克、卡龙、达甫、萨巴依等。歌词多属名诗、歌谣和民间故事。
Some people say that “Twelve Muqam” is a treasure in the history of the eastern music that has continued for thousands of years. Yes, it is just such an assessment that such an encyclopedia of art, rich in musical language, should represent the history and life of the Uyghur people. “Muqam” originated in Arabic, originally intended as “the highest position”, meaning “a large set of songs.” “Twelve Muqam” is a traditional large-scale ensemble of our nation with a total of twelve major sets, each consisting of three parts, “Grandman”, “Dastan” and “Maxi-hotpu”, including sequence songs, Recitation of songs, narrative group song, dance group songs, interludes and so on. It’s diverse in style, lively, extremely tunes. Accompaniment instruments are: Sha T’ar, plucked, Seoul alone, hot Wafu, Ai Czech, Caron, Darfur, Saba Yi and so on. Lyrics are mostly poems, ballads and folk tales.
