意象作为诗词灵魂,是中国古诗词美的载体。对于诗词翻译过程中意象美的传递,翻译界出现了“再现说”和“磨蚀说”。本文从接受美学视角出发,以许渊冲翻译的古诗词为例,指出由于读者不同的期待视野及语言和意象审美观,诗词英译过程中意象美的传递只能实现“有条件”再现,并分析了“有条件”再现的条件及方式。
As the soul of poetry, image is the carrier of the beauty of ancient Chinese poetry. For the transfer of the beauty of images in the process of poetry translation, the translation circles appear “Reproduction Theory” and “Abrasion Theory”. From the perspective of reception aesthetics, taking the ancient poems translated by Xu Yuanchong as an example, this paper points out that because of readers’ different horizon of expectation and the aesthetic ideas of language and image, the transmission of image beauty in the process of English poetry translation can only achieve “conditional” reproduction Analyzed the conditions and ways of “conditional” reproduction.
