众所周知,在高科技的通信核心技术中,中国自主知识产权的拥有量并不多,我国通信市场在持续增长、高速发展的同时,我们还要为专利的使用权每年都在上交着一笔不小的费用,这种局面曾让我们的业界专家痛心不已。我国信产部领导层早就看到了发展和推动我国自主创新核心高科技的必要性,并在1999年启动了“中国芯工程”。转眼间五年过去了,如今,我们可以稍稍的宽慰一下自己了,在3G的核心标准上,我们有了自己的、受到国际上承认的TD-SCDMA标准,我们一直在为3G的产业化而不懈努力的今天,又有了第一颗基于TD-SCDMA标准终端的3G手机核心芯片和协议软件。该芯片由展讯通信上海公司研发而成;是SoC级的TD-SCDMA(LCR)和GSH/GPRS双模多频的核心芯片,能够提供384K的数据服务。
