自1997年1月起,盐城市开始医疗保障制度改革,打破了市中医院原有的“宁静”。面对激烈的医疗市场竟争,该院充分发挥中医优势,主动适应医改形势,求得了生存和发展。1997年及1998年上半年门急诊总人次分别为27.14万和21.13万,比1996年分别增加190％与194.2％;业务收入分别达到3000及2000多万元,比1996年上升了近2倍。该院紧紧抓住医改运行的机遇,进入良性发展轨道,成为全省先进的市级综合性中医院。我们的体会是: Since January 1997, Yancheng City has initiated the reform of the medical security system, which has broken the original “quietness” of the city hospital. In the face of fierce competition in the medical market, the hospital gave full play to its advantages in Chinese medicine, actively adapted to the medical reform situation, and obtained survival and development. The total number of outpatient emergency visits in 1997 and the first half of 1998 was 271,400 and 21,300, respectively, an increase of 190% and 194.2%, respectively, from 1996. The business income reached 3,000 and more than 20 million yuan respectively, which was almost twice that of 1996. The hospital firmly seized the opportunity of medical reform to enter a benign development track and become an advanced municipal comprehensive Chinese medicine hospital in the province.
