为了让学生能切身体会到酸雨的危害,笔者精心设计了一个小实验:在燃烧匙的底部系一朵用紫色石蕊溶液染成的小花,把燃烧匙固定在橡皮塞上。收集满一瓶氧气并在瓶中倒入少量的水,再放入两粒锌、两片新鲜的树叶和一些水垢。在燃烧匙内放入一定量的硫并在空气中点燃,观察火焰的颜色,然后用橡皮塞塞紧集气瓶,观察硫在氧气中燃烧的现象,待火焰熄灭后振荡集气瓶。最后发现硫在空气和氧气中燃烧火焰分别呈淡蓝色和蓝紫色,并产生了有刺激性气味的气体,小花由紫色变红后褪色,集气瓶中的锌粒和水垢表面都产生大量
