Trace elements and human health and disease are closely linked, in particular, some essential trace elements, which are involved in the synthesis of enzymes, hormones, proteins, nucleic acids and metabolic functions, the human body’s growth, development, aging and death play a crucial role Important role. In recent years, the impact of trace elements on human life has attracted people’s attention. Hair is a chemical composition of uniform and stable material, once the metal trace elements in the hair follicle combined with the sulfur (SH) is fixed and not easy to be reabsorbed or shed by the body. Hair is also involved in the body’s metabolic processes like the skin, and is the end product of metabolism. The concentration of elements in the hair reflects the average concentration of elements present in the body. The determination of trace elements in the hair thus provides important information for the study of growth, development and aging. The purpose of this work is to investigate the characteristics of trace elements of longevity elderly by measuring the content of ten essential elements in the hair of longevity elderly people over the age of 90.
