Miao Yonghua, a famous Taiwanese translator living in France for many years, wrote in his book “Sleep in Paris”: “If you were not born in Paris, you should at least die in Paris. If you did not die in Paris, you’d better be buried in Paris. The impression of Paris is not only the perfume, the brand name, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées, where hundreds of years of graves stand silently and comfortably in the great souls of many who stopped in the streets of Paris, Now we miss them in the magnificent cemetery, which they left for us, Les Miserables, Remembrance of Love, The Lover, Camellia and Carmen. ”The graveyard is where people bury and mourn the dead. Throughout history, people of different cultures have different attitudes toward death and mournful deaths. As cremation patterns become more accepted, cemeteries have rarely been used to mourn the dead and become a place to record history.
