Introduction The radial shaving method developed by Carl Hurth in West Germany is a highly effective shaving method. Unlike the vertical shaving method, it cuts only radially, without longitudinal movement. Because there is no relative vertical movement, shaving cutter cutting groove arrangement to be made misplaced serrated (Figure 1). The company also offers a variety of patent documents on the arrangement of shaving cutters. Radial shaving compared with the longitudinal shaving, can greatly reduce the processing time, especially for the automotive industry, it can be achieved
