Among many good qualities, I admire modesty most. The ancients said: “The loss is full, and the benefit is.” The modest people are never satisfied with knowledge. They will study tirelessly and absorb new things like hunger and thirst. Modest people will strive for excellence in their work. They will absorb advanced experience and improve their methods of work. Modest people are willing to accept criticism from others because of their useful criticism can improve their moral cultivation and improve their learning and working methods. Contrary to modesty is pride. The proud man is self-righteous, defiant. They are like the water in a small river, and when the rain will overflow, how can the loftyness of the sea be remembered? I remember that Newton said that all his discovery was nothing but a playful child who picked up a few shells on the seashore. I love the great scientist Newton, and admire his modesty.
