为了进一步宣传我区各族各界妇女在改革开放和现代化建设中作出的突出贡献,宣传各行各业涌现出来的妇女先进典型,激励广大妇女积极投身我区改革开放和社会主义现代化建设事业,自治区党委组织部、自治区党委宣传部、自治区人事厅、自治区妇联、广西日报社、广西电视台于2004年9月联合启动了第五届“广西十大女杰”评选活动,并于2005年“三八”国际劳动妇女节进行表彰。八桂因地们更美丽。让我们一起来认识2005年评出的第五届“广西十大女杰”。
