大唤起林场是塞北“绿色明珠”塞罕坝的重要组成部分,位于河北省木兰围场北部、塞罕坝南端,始建于1962年。林场总经营面积28.78万亩,森林覆盖率82.1%。建场近50年来,大唤起林场几代务林人传承“艰苦创业、科学求实、无私奉献、开拓创新、爱岗敬业”的塞罕坝精神,在昔日的荒原上营造起10余万亩林海,为现代林业建设和生态文明建设作出了贡献。林场连续5年被评为实绩突出单位,多次被评为造林拨交、有害生物防治先进单位、红旗苗圃,还被授予“森林草原防火先进单位”、“优秀基层党组织”等称号。
