苏拉马都跨海大桥全长5 438m,是印度尼西亚第一座跨海大桥。根据本桥设计施工规范缺乏、自然条件复杂、结构耐久性要求高、工程建设基础资料稀缺、建设条件差异较大的特点,设计中编写了大桥专用设计准则,保证了中国规范在当地的适应性,结合结构特点和当地条件采用了多项新技术、新工艺和新理论,取得了一系列设计创新,为苏拉马都跨海大桥的顺利实施奠定了基础。
