市长专线电话工作既可以为政府决策提供参考依据,又可以帮助群众解决一些实际问题。抚州市政府2000年11月1日开通了市长专线电话,专门成立了市长专线电话室,实行专人负责,全办人员参与,每天24小时开通制度。市长专线电话工作受到市民的广泛关注和欢迎,但与群众的要求和期望还有差距。今年是转变作风年,应从以下几个方面把市长专线电话工作做得更好:
