由于三磷酸腺苷结合盒转运体A1(ABCA1)在胆固醇逆向转运、胆固醇代谢以及高密度脂蛋白(HDL)代谢过程中起着极其重要的调节作用,因此ABCA1与心血管疾病的发生发展有着密切的关系。ABCA1的发现为脂代谢和动脉粥样硬化(AS)的研究提供了新的思路,如能根据机体脂代谢的需要来调节ABCA1的表达水平,无疑将使AS的治疗达到一个新的高度。通过对近5年文献的查阅和综合,表明ABCA1是与动脉粥样硬化密切相关的重要基因。深入讨论其作用机理,对动脉粥样硬化的防治有重要意义。
ABCA1 is closely linked to the development of cardiovascular disease because of its crucial regulatory role in cholesterol reverse transport, cholesterol metabolism, and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) metabolism. The discovery of ABCA1 provides a new idea for the study of lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis (AS). If ABCA1 expression can be regulated according to the needs of body lipid metabolism, the treatment of AS will undoubtedly reach a new height. Through the literature review and synthesis of nearly 5 years, ABCA1 is an important gene that is closely related to atherosclerosis. In-depth discussion of its mechanism of action, prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis is important.
