Since the operation of the first nuclear power station in 1954, nuclear power construction has had a golden age of more than 20 years. Over three-quarters of the world’s nuclear power plants were built during that period. At that time, the threshold of nuclear power construction was technology, capital and manufacturing. Apart from the developed countries such as the United States, France and the former Soviet Union, developing countries are incapable of getting involved. The passage of time, the advancement of technology and the shift in manufacturing seem to have reduced the difficulty of nuclear power construction.
