The American Journal of Social and Economic Review, Vol. 3, No. 2 published an article by American scholar Greta R. Kripner entitled “The Financialization of the American Economy,” and systematically proved that the United States Economy Following the Emergence of Services, Information Economy and Post-industrialism, a New Characteristic Emerges - Financialization: In the U.S. economy, the profits of U.S. (both financial and non-financial) companies are increasing and have come mainly from the financial Channel rather than the manufacture and trade of goods. And by examining the implications of financialization, the essay also answers two long-standing debates in the social sciences: First, who controls the modern company; and second, what extent has globalization eroded the national sovereignty? The main contents of the article are as follows.
