海湾靶场测试系统的空中遥测中继系统(AP/TM)用于空对空导弹试验,并在地面设备视线服务区以外进行飞行训练。整个系统由遥测数据中继、海洋监测雷达和雷达数据信道、无人驾驶飞机(Drone)控制转发、超高频电台中继等分系统所组成。遥测数据中继分系统将接收来自五个独立源的遥测信号并将它们转发到地面接收站。该分系统装有75平方英尺的易于电控的五波束相控阵天线,并用极化分集技术减小极化失配损失和在出现多径传播时改善接收效果。该系统还具有转发四路话音通信信号、无人驾驶飞机跟踪数据信号,完成飞行任务的海洋区域监测的能力。雷达检测出的无人驾驶飞机坐标信号将通过高频数据线路转发给靶场控制中心。除空中设备外,本系统还包括飞行前、返航后检测和维护用的地面测试车。
The Bay Point Range Test System’s Air Telemetry Relay System (AP / TM) is used for air-to-air missile testing and flight training outside of the line-of-sight service area of the ground equipment. The entire system consists of telemetry data relay, marine surveillance radar and radar data channels, drone control forwarding, UHF radio repeater sub-system. The telemetry data relay subsystem will receive telemetry signals from five independent sources and forward them to the ground receiving station. The subsystem is equipped with a 75-square-foot, easily electronically controlled, five-beam phased array antenna and uses polarization diversity to reduce polarization mismatch loss and improve reception in the event of multipath propagation. The system also has the ability to forward four voice communications signals, the drones to track data signals, and complete maritime zone surveillance of missions. Radar detected drone coordinate signals will be forwarded to the shooting range control center via high frequency data lines. In addition to airborne equipment, the system also includes ground test vehicles for pre-flight and return inspection and maintenance.
