This paper proves through a neoclassical growth model that includes adjustment costs that the steady growth of the neoclassical growth model requires that the sum of the rate of change in the marginal efficiency of capital accumulation and the rate of capital improvements must equal zero. The steady-state theorem of Uzawa (1961) uses it as the steady-state condition for the neoclassical growth model in all cases It is wrong and should be amended.
