弧齿锥齿轮切齿是按所谓“假想平顶齿轮”原理(存YS2250等机床)展成加工,就是由铣刀盘刀齿切削刃的运动轨迹构成假想平顶齿轮齿表面与被切齿轮做无隙啮合的相对运动,从而在轮坯上逐渐地切出齿形。 m(?)<2.5mm的小直径弧齿锥齿轮一般采用复合双面法加工,不论大轮或小轮,齿槽的凸凹两面都是一次切成。大小轮粗、精切都用双面刀盘,且为整体式结构(如图1)。该刀盘不可调整,刀盘过刀齿的径向截面为阿基米德螺旋面,且使同名刀齿切削刃在过轴心的同一平面上。
