通过对中国儒家经典《论语》的复译现象的描述,本文指出“阐释的多元”在《论语》的翻译过程中确实客观存在,而造成这种多元阐释的原因主要是:作为阐释主体的阐释者是完全不同的,各种主客观因素都会干扰译者对原作的阐释;思想博大精深、语言言简意赅的《论语》又给阐释者留下大量的文本“空白”去阐释;而不同的译者在阐释这不同的文本“空白”时,必然会出现不同的阐释结果,从而最后的译文是截然不同的。
Through the description of the translating phenomenon of the Analects of Confucius in the Confucian classics in China, this paper points out that the “pluralism of interpretation” does exist objectively in the process of the translation of The Analects. The reasons for this multiple interpretation are mainly as follows: Interpreter is completely different, all kinds of subjective and objective factors will interfere with the interpretation of the original translator; ideological breadth and depth of the language concise “Analects of Confucius” and the interpreter left a lot of text “blank ” to explain; and different Translator interprets the different text “blank”, inevitably there will be different interpretation of the results, so the final translation is completely different.
