The newspaper’s earlier issue of “Stanislavsky met several times” and the current issue of “Art Theater in Moscow” are both published by Nikomi Gorkakov, “Stanislavski The director’s course ”in the first two chapters. In these sections, the author vividly portrays us the vivid image of a great Soviet citizen and great artist. We can see Stanislavsky’s serious and serious work in the creative process, keen observation and deep thinking in his life, especially his concern and guidance for the young dramatists. Let us, in a few decades later , You can still feel the venerable and amiable appearance of this great artist. We think: Our theater workers not only want to learn Stanislavski’s theatrical heritage, but also learn from his qualities as a citizen and as an artist. Therefore, we asked Comrade Sun Weishi to translate these sections and publish it. The section “What is a Director” in this article was published in the “Arts and Literature”, No. 7 of 1953, and for the sake of consistency, we publish it here again.
