河北省中南部低平原区的全更新沉积地层中,普遍贮存有大量氯化物、硫酸钠或钠镁型咸水,矿化度一般3—7克/升。这项资源如能用于农业灌溉,将有助于解决本地区抗旱增产。这在地下淡水资源极少的河间地带和浅层咸水分布区,尤为重要和有利。开发咸水还可降低地下水位,增加雨水入渗,有利于抗涝、咸水淡化、改良盐土和防止土壤次生盐渍化。我所自1977年起在青县开展了冬小麦咸灌技术的研究,经过多年试验、示范和调查,取得了一些结果,分述如下。
