飞天,在佛教的艺术宝库中是最具标志性的形象之一。是中国古代佛教艺术中最富有艺术性和创造性的艺术形象,她们在“满壁风动”的藻井里、穹顶上、墙壁间,这些衣带飘逸、凌空曼舞的快乐精灵们,向凡世的人们开示了佛国极乐仙音萦绕、香花满散的美好情景,也是古代无数灿烂的文学、音乐、舞蹈、服饰、雕塑、壁画等艺术创作的灵感泉源。但飞天并不是纯粹的中国传统艺术形象,她融合了西域血统与中原精神,再经过漫长的文化洗礼和锤炼,最终升华为不朽的中国美神。然而,在飞天来到中国之前,她其实已经走过了漫长的丝绸之路,从一路上无数遗留下来的佛窟里,记载着她由印度和踺陀罗出发以来的蜕变与成长的轨迹。
Flying is one of the most iconic images in Buddhist art treasures. Is the most artistic and creative artistic image in Chinese ancient Buddhist art.
