Foreword Over the years, more than 40 copper-zinc deposits and mineralization sites have been discovered in the old metamorphic rocks of the Liaodong area. Among them, the Hongtoushan copper mine has the largest industrial value. It is a typical deep metamorphic massive sulfide deposit in China, occurring in the biotite hornblende gneiss in the Archean Anshan Group. The isotopic age is 277 million years (Pb 206 Pb Pb 207) -2884 million years (Rb Sr method). The Hongtoushan area produced two large folds during regional metamorphism. For the first time formed a wider distribution of things
