安妮·布里塞特是加拿大渥太华大学翻译学院教授,研究生和博士后学院成员,国际翻译与跨文化学会(International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies,简称IATIS)的创始人之一和前主席,联合国教科文组织多语交流的顾问。曾就职于加拿大联邦翻译总署,从事口译和笔译工作。研究兴趣包括翻译理论、话语理论、社会学和翻译社会学。目前正在从事联合国教科文组织的翻译流向和翻译实践研究。2014年春天,该教授应邀到北京外国语大学讲学,为期三个月。在此期间,笔者就近几年的翻译热点问题对她进行了专访。之后,该教授又通过邮件对采访问题进行了补充和完善。采访内容涉及加拿大翻译学的发展、加拿大主要的翻译学学者、翻译理论与实践的关系、翻译社会学以及翻译研究的现状与未来发展等。
Anne Briseset is a professor, graduate and postdoctoral fellow at the School of Translation Studies, University of Ottawa, Canada, one of the founders and former chairman of the International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS), a UNESCO Consultant to organize multilingual communication. He worked in the Commonwealth of Canada’s Department of Translation, working on interpretation and translation. His research interests include translation theory, discourse theory, sociology and translation sociology. UNESCO is currently engaged in the translation flow and translation practice research. In the spring of 2014, the professor was invited to give lectures at Beijing Foreign Studies University for a period of three months. During this period, I conducted an interview with her on the translation hot issues in recent years. After that, the professor also supplemented and improved the interview by mail. The interview covers the development of Canadian translatology, the major Canadian translators and scholars, the relationship between translation theory and practice, the sociology of translation and the status quo and future development of translation studies.
