在设计供水量较大之浅井时,单靠浅井本身湧水量往往不敷应用,多半需设集水沟渠等建筑物,以便取得较为丰富的水源,但集水沟渠的方式受地质和施工等条件限制;故近年来国內外广泛的修建了带辐射形集水管的水源井,该种形式水源井,对增加湧水量收效很大,据统计,在同样的水文地质条件和供水量时,辐射井的建筑造价比一羣管井平均低15~30%;因此,用辐射井集取地下潛流,无论在挖掘企业原有井的潛力方面,或用于农田灌溉方面都是很有利的.
