2001年5月,教育部和中国科学技术协会共同发起倡导,在小学和幼儿园推行一项名为“做中学(LearningbyDoing)”的科学教育改革项目。该项目借鉴了美国“HANDSON(动手做)”和法国“LAMAP(动手和面团吧)”科学教育改革的经验,采用中法合作研究的形式进行研究。2001年9月,上海市静安区8所小学和5所幼儿园正式投入试点,目前,“做中学”已经成为静安区小学、幼儿园实施的地方课程。曹坚红、徐则民、李慧珠、吴成芳、董志祥、刘鑫……一批普普通通的“做中学”课程执教老师,从参加试点到现在,虽然只有近两年的时间,但他们的教学观念和行为却经历了“革命”性的变化:他们学会了如何从学生的生活经验中选取科学探究的主题并创造性地开发课程,学会了如何基于真实的课堂问题情境引导学生作进一步的探究,学会了如何在科学教育的过程中自然地渗透科学态度与人文精神……这些也同样是广大新课程实验教师需要解决的问题。下面由上海市静安区教育学院提供的四篇文章,真实地记录了他们如何转变角色、改善教学行为的专业成长历程。
