Michael G. Moore, Professor of Pedagogy at the Department of Learning and Performance Systems, Penn State University, USA, editor in chief of the American Journal of Distance Education, renowned theoretician and practitioner in the international distance education field, One of the pioneers in practice. In practice, he founded the first distance education magazine in the United States, the American Journal of Distance Education (1987), organized the first tele-education seminar in the United States (1988), and founded the first distance education in the United States Center for Research (1989). In theory, he developed the well-known theory of distance learning and distance learning in distance learning and edited and published several books on distance education, including the recently published distance education encyclopedia - Distance Education Handbook.
