北部湾地区在我国不仅具有重要的战略地位,同时还具有丰富的旅游资源,充分开发利用北部湾旅游资源,打造北部湾旅游文化品牌是促进北部湾区域经济发展、提升北部湾区域形象的重要途径。全域旅游在全国范围内的推动下,产业融合已经是旅游发展的新模式,在这一模式背景下,广西北部湾旅游的发展建设虽形成了一定的特色,但是为了更好的适应产业融合的发展,推动旅游由单一的景点模式到全域模式,在国家的政策号召下,应不断升级、创新和创建具有北部湾特色的旅游文化品牌,从而全面提升北部湾旅游形象。
