This article focuses on what forms of honey and sugar exist in the Chinese diet and how it affects the lives of the Chinese. The three most important sweet foods in the Chinese diet are honey, sucrose (lactose) and maltose, respectively. The article is divided into three parts to discuss in detail the different forms of sugar in the classics and the application in practical social life.
