本文的中心内容是论证在严寒地区,不适宜修建无铰的钢筋混凝土双曲拱桥。其理由是由于一年内的温差较大,温度升降和混凝土收缩所引起的内力,占总内力的比重大,所以主拱圈必须有较大的截面和较多的钢筋,即使如此,也很难避免拱顶和拱脚处的混凝土的开裂。裂缝如果严重,随着岁月的推移,当裂缝伸长到钢筋所在处,钢筋会受腐蚀,影响到桥梁的安全。黑龙江省北安黑河公路上许多双曲拱桥普遍发现裂缝的事实与本文所分析的结论是吻合的。

If the crack is serious, with the passage of years, when the crack is stretched to the place where the steel bar is located, the steel bar will be corroded, affecting the safety of the bridge. The fact that cracks are commonly found in many double-curvature arch bridges on the Heihe Highway in Bei’an, Heilongjiang Province is consistent with the conclusions analyzed in this paper.
