普通应用的比较木选择法,作为家系内的选择形式予以分析。若比较木和被选木群体间的环境差异 C~2是总变异内一个相对小的比例(5株比较木为17%或低于17%),用比较木选择的结果,将比单株选择法的遗传改良小,若比较木和候选木有亲缘关系,其 C~2较大,单株选择甚至也可较比较木选择有效。从已发表的报道中获知,C~2与天然林分内树木间的亲缘关系的估计,在很多树种中,较单株选择法的遗传效益小。建议补用其他方法,在优树选择中能校正立地条件的差异。
