二甲苯胺蓝-Ⅱ作为微量镁的显色剂在国内外曾发表过一些研究报告.我们在前人工作的基础上,应用此试剂来测定锡精矿中低量镁.试验表明,在pH10,30%乙醇介质中,试剂与镁定量反应生成酒红色可溶性络合物,最大吸收峰在520纳米处,摩尔吸光系数ε_(510)=2.4×10~(4)升·摩尔~(-1)·厘米~(-1),氧化镁含量在0~12微克/25毫升内符合比尔定律.为消除锡精矿中大量锡及伴生元素的影响,本实验应用碘化铵挥发锡,铜试剂沉淀铁、铅、铜、铋、锰等元素,然后以酒石酸钾钠掩蔽铝,锶—EGTA掩蔽钙.本法适用于国内各类型锡精矿中0.01~1%氧化镁量的测定.
