钛耐腐蚀性好、比重小、强度高,而且耐高温。在热力发电厂用钛管做冷凝器具有用量少、使用耐久、减少检修次数、安全可靠等好处,所以,近几年来,美国、日本、英国、法国、瑞典、东南亚等国的火力发电站都相继采用了钛管或全钛冷凝器。我国是一个钛资源十分丰富的国家,但目前还没有将全钛型冷凝器用于火力发电中。本文介绍了薄壁焊接钛管的物理性质、机械性质、热传导性、耐蚀性等特性,并与以往使用的铜、铝合金管及不锈钢管做了比较。对钛管的技术经济效果也做了简略的分析。
