The biggest advantage of building boards made of inorganic materials is their non-flammability. At high temperatures, expansion due to the presence of bubbles inside can cause the panel to burst and break. This is a problem that needs careful solution. Kubota Tetsuku Co., Ltd. of Japan found out solutions to the problem through in-depth research. They believe that the size of the bubble is the key to the problem. The size of the bubble determines the compressive deformation rate of the air contained in the bubble. In the plate, a thermoplastic resin fiber is incorporated. The resin fiber is melted when the inorganic product is heat-cured to generate relatively large bubbles. The existence of these large bubbles can prevent the explosion of the plate at high temperatures.
