Ⅰ.填充塔直径的决定:填充塔的直径,决定于下述的两个条件:(1)液体的分布务须均匀,同时填充物的表面务须充分为液体所润湿;(2)避免引起泛滥现象。由条件(1)决定塔的最大直径;为要满足此条件,由经验知液量须在4〔立方米/(平方米)×(小时)〕以上。由条件(2)可决定塔的最小直径;为要满足此条件,须先决定泛点速度。
I. Determination of packed tower diameter: The diameter of the packed tower depends on the following two conditions: (1) the distribution of the liquid should be uniform and the surface of the packed body must be sufficiently wetted by the liquid; (2) to avoid causing flooding phenomenon. The maximum diameter of the tower is to be determined by condition (1); to satisfy this condition, the volume of liquid must be at least 4 [cubic meters / (square meter) x (hour)]. The minimum diameter of the tower can be determined from condition (2); in order to satisfy this condition, the general point speed must be decided first.
