中国戏曲是一个完整的艺术体系,其独特的表现手法——综合性、虚拟性和程式性,凝聚着中华民族传统文化美学思想的精髓。并由此构成了独特的东方戏剧观,使中国戏曲艺术在世界舞台上独树一帜,成为具有代表性的东方演剧体系。中国传统戏曲的舞美,具有举世公认的艺术美学价值,它把传统戏中瞬息万变的时空关系,处理得十分巧妙和可信,故其简朴的传统中性景物才得以延续流传千百年。戏曲舞美的综合性因素与其程式化的表演、时空转换等特色,彼此互助,浑然一体。
