Embryo induction is a complex phenomenon in the process of embryonic development and cell differentiation. It involves the complex interaction between the inducer and the induced person. Responders are species-free or tissue-specific to the inducer. In amphibians, for example, gastrula ectoderm responds to heterogeneous induction, even for some tumor tissues, in addition to responding to the front end of the gastrula.
