广西铅锌矿床的成因,过去基本划为远源的中低温岩浆热液裂隙充填(交代)型矿床。但随着层控矿床理论的不断深入发展,对广西铅锌矿床成因的认识也有所变化。广西的铅锌矿床(除个别外)基本具有如下特征:①矿体大多数呈层状、似层状、透镜状,产于层间裂隙、层间破碎带以及含矿地层中,少部分呈复杂的脉状产于穿层断裂中;②大多数矿体在空间上与岩浆岩无明显关系,部分虽与岩浆岩有密切关系,但又受层位控制;③矿体都严格受一定层位、一定沉积相控制;④矿石基本具有反映沉积层理的条带
