耳聋是老年人四种最主要的慢性疾病之一。尽管流行性较高,但年龄相关性听力受损的生物学基础还不清楚。本文研究目的旨在确定年龄相关性听力受损是否与VitB_(12)缺乏,叶酸缺乏或二者同时缺乏有关。对象与方法选择志愿者55人,年龄60~71岁,均为健康女性。排除有糖尿病、卒中、耳病、噪音性耳聋、单侧耳聋等病史患者。年龄相关性听力受损,即老年性耳聋是50岁后发生的双侧感觉神经听力受损,在排除其它可能病因后即可诊断。听力功能测定按0.5-,1-,2-和4-KHZ气导纯音平均听阈确定,可分为以下两组:听力正常,<20dB听力水平(n=38~44):听力受损,≥20dB听力水平(n=10~11)。于过夜禁食后7:30到10:00采血,
