传统英语教学中,英语阅读一直在课堂和试卷中扮演着重要角色,但目前大部分的英语教学工作都是围绕词汇,短语,句型展开的,过分强调逐字逐句的理解句型和段落的意思,通过翻译文章来达到做题的目的,从而忽视了对学生思维能力的培养,尤其是批判性思维能力的培养,使得中学生缺乏对文章整体思想的把握和综合素质的提升。现如今,在提高初中英语阅读能力问题上的一个热点话题就是培养初中生的批判性思维能力,本文就对此话题进行简单的分析研究,以期探讨出一些值得借鉴和效仿的观点。
In traditional English teaching, English reading has always played an important role in the classroom and in exam papers. However, most of the current English teaching work focuses on vocabulary, phrases and sentence patterns. It overemphasizes the meanings of sentences and paragraphs in verbatim, Through the translation of articles to achieve the purpose of the question, thus neglecting the cultivation of students’ thinking ability, especially the development of critical thinking ability, making the lack of grasp of the overall thinking of the article and improve the overall quality of secondary school students. Nowadays, a hot topic in improving junior high school English reading ability is to cultivate the critical thinking ability of junior high school students. This article simply analyzes and studies the topic in order to explore some ideas worthy of reference and emulation.
