散文和经验到底是怎样一种关系?这个问题颇值得研究。在20世纪的文论发展中,当一些论者试图在“文本”与“主体”的审美分析理论基础上,用“文化系统”的方法加以新的综合的时候,曾提出过可以用“回忆”“经验”来解释文学生成的设想。这无疑是一种很大胆的、具有启发性的命题设想。从文学的特性来看,可以说,一切文体都具有很强的“散文性”。且不说惯常意义上的抒情、议论等手段在散文中随处可见,就是作为“语言艺术”的文学“文本”特性,散文似乎比其他体裁体现得更直接,更明显。这就说明散文之于文学整体,具有“母体”性质。进一步说,散文可以说是一切具有“叙述”特性“文本”的母体。上述假想的核心是,既然可以用“回忆”“经验”来解释文学性“文本”的生成之源,那么,以“母体”(散文)作为例子加以分析,应当说是恰当的。在这里,散文就超越了体裁、手段等方面而具有了审美根本性的性质。
