栗树是重要的木本粮食树种。其种仁含有丰富的淀粉、蛋白质、脂肪和维生素等物质,营养价值比小麦还高,是良好的果品和木本粮食。因此,发展栗树是增产粮食的另一条途径,对于增加社员收入,巩固集体经济,建设山区具有重要作用。栗树抗寒力较弱,在辽宁栽培的板栗(Castanea mollissima Blume)和丹东栗(Castanea Crenata Sitb)幼树和大树均有不同程度的冻害,尤其在丹东、本溪和抚顺地区较为严重。冻害严重地影响栗树生长和结果。因此,予防冻害是栗树栽培中一项重要管理措施。根据几年来的调查和定位试验提出栗树的冻害几种主要表现及其予防方法,仅供参考。一、栗树的冻害几种主要表现及其危害程度(一)干梢
