武汉京剧院正在紧锣密鼓排练《贵妇还乡》之时,圈内就传说:“徐棻、谢平安二君此次编排该剧,打的旗号是‘三化’”。所谓“三代”,即“中国化、戏曲化、京剧化”。闻此“三化”,未看戏便知该剧成功了一大半。戏曲回归本体,京剧“移步不换形”,乃戏曲界的共同呼唤。徐、谢二君虽深谙戏曲艺术之直谛,熟知编导艺术之规律,而拿出一位世界上重量级戏剧大师的名作作实验,无论是编,还是导,以及表演和舞台上的整体展现,一一均非易事,处处皆要见真功夫才行。
