自从 1985年Greider在四膜虫提取物中发现并纯化了端粒酶以来 ,关于端粒酶的研究已取得了重大进展。端粒酶的激活和端粒长度的维持是细胞永生化和无限增殖而癌变的必要条件。端粒酶活性测定可作为肿瘤诊断和预后判断的生物学指标。端粒酶活性的抑制已成为研究肿瘤治疗的热点。
Great progress has been made in the study of telomerase since Greider discovered and purified telomerase in Tetrahymena extract in 1985. Activation of telomerase and telomere length maintenance are necessary conditions for immortalization and immortalization of cells and carcinogenesis. Determination of telomerase activity can be used as a biological indicator of tumor diagnosis and prognosis. Inhibition of telomerase activity has become a hot spot in the study of cancer therapy.
