多年前,我第一次在家乡公园里看走江湖的人玩把戏,那个人油嘴滑舌,手脚灵巧,飞快地把几个胡桃壳搬来搬去,然后问四周围观的乡巴佬:“哪个空壳子下面有一颗豌豆?”当时我对世上的坏事虽毫无所知,却突然提高嗓子尖声说:“说不定都没有。”那个人狠狠地瞪了我一眼,随后又把我咒骂了一顿:“小姐、太太、老爷们,你们瞧,这个小鬼啊,长大了定是个哭丧鬼,悲观主义者。”那时我还不懂什么叫“悲观主义者”,后来查字典,才知道那个人讲的一点都不错。字典上说,悲观主义者是“凡事都往坏处想,总以为结果一定不好的人”,这正是我的写照。我可不是存心要悲观,而是天生的悲观。不过我倒觉得:我们这些悲观主义者过的日子,比起那些乐观主义者要高明得多了。比方说,我每次坐上飞机,口里就不出声地念念有词,黯然向世界告别,自信这次一定劫数难逃。每次送朋友上飞机,我也有同样的感觉,总要恋恋不舍地多看
