近年来随着应用语言学领域的学习者自主的研究逐渐深入,各种提高和培养学习者自主学习的策略日益被研究者所关注;与此同时,美国心理学家Flavell的元认知理论在开发学生智力方面越来越引起国内教育界的重视。本文试图在英语专业学生自主学习和元认知理论中间找到一个切入点,把元认知策略引入到自主学习的实践中,探讨元认知策略下英语专业学生自主学习能力的培养途径,进而帮助学生改进学习方法,提高他们的学习能力和效果。
