帖是石刻中一类。虽然帖有木刻,但毕竟是少数。宋《淳化阁帖》,每册末尾年月下刻某某“摹勒上石”。可是宋以后,或云刻于枣木板,于是,后人刻《淳化阁帖》往往在裂痕上故刻银锭痕迹,以附会其说。原帖早佚,暂存此说。帖石为横石,每块高尺许,宽二至三尺。其内容多为帝王、名臣与文人所书诗词、歌赋、书札等等。刻成后置于室内或镶于壁中,以墨拓之,装裱成册,供人欣赏与临摹。故何时刻
