From June 25 to June 30, 1986, the National Women and Children Health Propaganda Work Experience Exchange Conference was held in Shashi City, Hubei Province. 145 formal representatives attended the conference, and 58 comrades from the provincial, municipal, prefecture, county health administrative departments and maternity and child care institutions attended the conference. Leading comrades from the Ministry of Health, Hubei Province, and Shashi City attended the meeting and the opening speech was delivered by Comrade A Jiesheng, Deputy Minister of Health, Ms. Gao Shufen, Department of Maternity and Child Health.
